EMT transformed my TDI from limp to lively!

Apr 19, 2012 by David

I bought my 04 Jetta TDI Wagon remotely, without having driven it, for a good price. It came to me with an engine light on and needed work, it was very sluggish. I had it into a couple other shops who said the turbo was seized and needed to be replaced and was referred to EMT. I'm so glad I brought it to EMT! They kept me informed along the way and showed me at the shop everything that was fixed. I feel as though they truly love my car and treat it as if it were their own. Their prices are excellent and they spent a lot of time on my car that I know they didn't charge for. They also undercharged me and didn't charge me at all for some related unforeseen parts that needed to be replaced. They discussed options with me along the way and I ended up getting a much better than stock setup for very little extra investment and it was worth every penny. Man you can feel it! My car runs extremely well and is incredibly fun to drive. It's a completely different car with lots of power and no sacrifice to fuel economy! Many many thanks to EMT, great people who do amazing work!

Malone stage 2

Feb 04, 2012 by Kelvin L

Went to EMT this morning and got stage 2, it was a great experience. Logging the tune was fun and Kasper is very good company. He worked on my car for over 6 hours amd showed the same amount of interest at the end as when he began the tune. He has a very strong passion for his work and made sure I was a part of the whole process. I am very happy with the tune, even driving normally puts a smile on my face. I highly reccommend this shop!!! Definitely coming back for a visit.

The ONLY SHOP that can i will ever take my car to!

Feb 03, 2012 by Max

Had a an accident, and decided to pay to fix, instead of going through insurance. Dealer quoted me 5,000$ for parts and 3,000$ for labour, its an 2006 vw jetta. lots of things needed to be repaired. I was pissed! and was going to sell the car since i couldn't afford the 8k! And obviously going through insurance isn't a question since they will increase your rates that you won't afford to drive! I drove by Euro and since it said on the sign that they work on vw i stopped to ask what they think.......

4 Days later! The car was done and ready to go! saved me sooo much money! i got a detailed description of what he did and the guy explained everything I'm getting charged for! He went over the original estimate by 200$, and didn't ask me if i was ok with it, but hey, he picked me up and dropped me off, and 4 days later i was back on the road! THE SHOP SAVED ME THOUSANDS OF $$$, LITERALLY! I will never ever go anywhere else!

The shop should really advertise themselves more since its got amazing service and great prices! VERY HONESTpeople, which is sooo rare in automotive industry!

5+

The only shop I need.

Jan 31, 2012 by Peter Goindi

I have taken all three of our VWs to EMT since they first opened. Our vehicles range from a relatively low-performance VW camper to my fairly high performance and significantly modified Jetta with over 500k on the odometer. No matter what our vehicle's needs, EMT caters to them. They listen to my performance desires and make recommendations for repairs that match. I have always felt they do their best to keep my vehicles running at or above spec without doing anything unnecessary, unneeded or unasked for. Their experience and honesty is invaluable. I am regularly asked who takes care of my cars because, in the case of my own, people know how much and how hard I drive. EMT gives me the confidence I need to trust my vehicles to safely and efficiently get me and my family where we're going. Throw some fun performance mods into that equation and you've got the only shop you need!

TOP NOTCH

The EMT FMIC kit unit is TOP NOTCH. There wasn't a single bend out of place or angle and the quality of welds was outstanding.

Euro Motor Tech is the best professional

Jan 26, 2012 by Brain Smith

Service you can get for Volkswagen!! I had a serious problem with my Golf TDI 2001, I went to TONS of VW specialists and spend over 1000 bucks for diagnostic and unnecessary repairs, and still had the engine light! I went to various specialists; all wanting to make money off me, due to my lack of knowledge. EMT solved this problem for $50 without charging labour, since it only took 5 minutes to replace a relay. Even though the owner, Jarek, has a very strong European accent, it is a pleasure to make business with him. EMT employees are very passionate about their work and most importantly honest! This shop provides professional service without trying to rip you off.

Great Service

Jan 26, 2012 by Steve-o-Ramma

I've had all sorts of work preformed by them from an oil change to having a transmission replaced and a turbo replaced. They are very reliable. About the only place I'd trust to wok on both of our diesel VWs.

Pretty Good Shop, Always Quality Work, Good Prices, Poor Communication

Jan 26, 2012 by Jon

First I should mention how much experience I have with this shop. Here's what I've had done by them on my 2001 VW Jetta TDI: * Timing belt slipped due to a seized roller. Had them diagnose the problem and do the repair (engine head needed replacing due to damage). * A few glowplugs replaced. * Waterpump replaced due to leak. * Exhaust flex pipe replaced * Diagnosed a failed dual mass flywheel. * Starter replaced. * Reverse sensor replaced. * Having the following work done today/tomorrow: clutch/flywheel, rack & pinnion, power steering hose, MAF, A/C/fan controller * More things I can't remember off the top of my head. The Positive: You can always depend on this shop to do good work. If one of the employees does bad work, the owner will make it right for you. Prices are always reasonable and the owner will often cut deals especially for repeat customers. They will almost always find room to fit you in without an appointment even if they are swamped (which they always are). The guys are also great to talk to and will give you honest advice even if it means they won't make as much money. The Negative: The owner is very bad at calling you when he says he will. Even if you tell him to call you about something often he won't so you have to keep calling him. This can be irritating when it's an expensive repair that you want to approve before they do it because they will just fix it without asking. Luckily the prices are good and they don't fix what isn't broken so it's not a huge downside. Sometimes they will do extra small bits of work without asking you first and you'll get charged for it. Also, sometimes you'll try to make an appointment to have work done on a certain day at a certain time but since he doesn't really do appointments you'll have to wait anyway. I knocked them down 1 star for these negatives.

Excellent service and even better price!

Jan 26, 2012 by Ryan

I needed new brakes on my Volkswagen and after nearly having a heart attack hearing the quote from the dealership, I began to look elsewhere. I stopped in at Euro Motor Tech, chatted with who I assume is the owner, toured the store of parts, and was booked for service just two days later. I got professional service, premium parts, and at half the price of the dealership. To top it off, my final bill was less than the original quote. I will be taking my car there for all future repairs.
